Sorry for the lack of updates. This blog has been so not productive this year and seriously this is a very shameful record. All in all, I would like to thank my dear Allah for His never ending blessings. I couldn't have feel any better than thinking of all the blessings and wonderful things that happened around me. Thank you Allah for everything!
I was overwhelmed when the ustazah asked me to be in charged for a play to be performed during the Maulidur Rasul celebration in school. Wow, me handling a play? I was really excited. But how am I going to get the students ready by Friday when I just can start practicing on Wednesday. It has been such a long time since my last time writing for a play and it was in early 2005 I guess. I kept thinking for something that would be meaningful yet acceptional to the students with their background. Seriously there are loads to put when thinking about our beloved ar-Rasul. Alhamdulillah, I managed to finish up the script by 9am on Wednesday. I rushed to reach school on 10am and only managed to give the students the script and their parts. and again alhamdulillah, the trainee teacher gladly replace my class so I can train the students. Though he was like, "it'll only be this time, right?". But on top of that, thumbs up to the students for being really cooperative and understanding. Though there are some of the students keep asking if they will receive anything for the performance, I kept reminding them that this performance is going to be our tribute to the prophet. Insya Allah the reward would be amazing and amazing reward can only be given by Allah.
I need to keep reminding the students to be serious and play their part seriously as they are delivering message to the other students from the play. Guess, they really enjoy acting in the battle with swords, wearing an arab turban (which I learned to wrap it through uTube) and trying to be superhero. Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah. Though there were some technical problems with the microphone and speakers (which are beyond our reach to handle it), I think everyone really enjoying it. The other students were excited to see the actors with arab costume anyways.
And here is such a beautiful song to remind us about our beloved prophet Muhammad. Posted before by my dear sis PuteriBonda. I planned to play this song during class but I had to leave the class earlier as a parent want to discuss with me about her child.
So here goes this very beautiful song, Al-Habib.
Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba (2x)
Shine your mercy like the sun
And be gracious as the earth
Let your kindness come like rain which choose not whom it falls upon

Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba (2x)
Shine your mercy like the sun
And be gracious as the earth
Let your kindness come like rain which choose not whom it falls upon
And let ocean deep your wisdom be
Your hearth and land spread in peace
Give yourself in love of him be like Al Habib
But in your deepest heal and in your deepest breath
Follow him in humility
Place your trust in the one, to whom creation turns
You'll find redemption and find peace.
Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba
Be a blazing fire of truth, be assuming full of peace
With the light of your sincerity, break the clouds of tyranny
Let your faith be like a blessed tree, give your shade to all who seek
May your root of truth indeed take your strength from Al-habib
Ya Nabi Salaam Alaik Ya rasool Salaam Alaik
Ya Habib Salaam Alaik Salawatullah Alaik
And all who turns to you will bring tranquillity
Contentment with Allah's decree
Give thanks for all what comes, be patient and revert
Some day you will return to Him
Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba
Hold fast to the company of the folk of certainty
Through the gates and through your love for them
May you be as one of them
He is gentle as the whispering breeze, spread solace to the world we're in
Let your heart and soul be narrative, give life and love to Al habib
Ya Nabi Salaam Alaik Ya Rasool Salaam Alaik
Ya Habib Salaam Alaik Salawatullah Alaik
And stand before Allah like nothing else exist.
And worship Him like you are seen
Be with all creation, in all your deeds and words
Let's know you help yourself to these
Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba
Yet when you master all of this
Forget not your neediness, we're it not for Allahs grace
None of this can be achieved
So be humble as the lonely earth, that all creatures walk upon
Be the slave of the most merciful, take your light from Al-Habib
So shine your mercy like the sun
Send your light across the earth
Let your kindness flow like rivers
Quenched the thirst to all who come
And let mountain strong your spirit be
Let your heart melt down of love for him
Take the roads that leads to him
May you be with Al-Habib
Ya Nabi Salaam Alaik Ya Rasool Salaam Alaik
Ya Habib Salaam Alaik Salawatullah Alaik (2x)
Laa Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun Rasoolullah
Alaihi Salatullah Wa Alihi Wal Ahibba (2X)
